Mr Sam Ibrahim
The founders of St Henri Property Group, Sam and Alahna Ibrahim, were inspired to relocate their home and business to Bowral to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle that living in the Southern Highlands offers. Keen to participate and contribute to their community, Sam and Alahna head a wonderful team that is St Henri Property Group, their innovative residential, commercial and industrial developments, together with corporate sponsorships, donations to charitable organisations, and their enthusiastic participation in local events and fundraising keep this dynamic couple very busy.
Mr Terry Oakes-Ash
As President of the Southern Highlands Business Chamber, Terry Oakes-Ash said, “SHBC representing business throughout the Southern Highlands is totally supportive of the Festival of Cricket – Bowral is cricket, without which tourism would die”. Terry has always been a strong supporter of the Festival and of the Southern Highlands.
Mr William Laver
William Laver is the great nephew of Victorian and Australian former cricketer, Frank Laver. He played cricket at grade level in Sydney and the country and has maintained a deep love for the five day game. Mr Laver, together with Mrs Elizabeth Telford, runs the very successful Cheese Store at Bowral.
Mr Tony Springett
Springetts and Bradman have been a part of Bowral since the 1920's. Springetts moved their business from Mittagong to Bowral in 1926 and via numerous business enterprises eventually established Springetts Arcade which is located in the heart of the Bowral business district. Arcade manager is Tony Springett is passionate about cricket. He was part of the Bowral Blues 1st grade premiership side in 1970/71.His grandfather, Alf Stephens, was the skipper of the Bowral 1st grade premiership from 1939 – 1941 and was the Bowral captain when the Don was called up to play his first 1st grade game. He later travelled by ship to England with his family and the Australian team including Sir Donald Bradman to play in the Ashes series.
Mr Thos Hodgson
Thos Hodgson is a Barrister and a self confesed cricket tragic. He became obsessed with the game and all its various facets at the age of 9 years. He loves cricket because it is endless in it appeal. He is a member of Sydney University Veterans, the Bradman Foundation XI (of which I am particularly proud to be a member),the Primary Club and the Antiquarians. Thos has played cricket in virtually all parts of the world, including unusual places such as Portugal, Belgium and Germany and recently returned from the Caribbean. Thos chose to be member number 17 because his birth date was 17 February, the same date as Don Tallon and Barry Jarman, two famous wicket keepers.
Colin and Muffy Munro.
A long association with cricket through Colin's maternal Aunt Margaret Peden, Australian first Womens' team Captain and his Mother was also a member of the first Australian Women's Cricket team. Colin's Godmother, Betty Archdale, Captained England's first team to visit Australia in 1934. Margaret also captained Australia's return visit to England in 1937. Betty was the first woman member of the MCC
His Father, Colin Patrick Munro, played with the MCC before WWII
Mr John Springett
John Springett grew up in Bowral and started playing cricket at public school and later at High School. Hi Grandfather, Alf Stephens was the Captain of Bowral when Sir Donald Bradman played. John has fond memories of playing on the pitch in their backyard as a child, with cricketers such as Sir Donald. John was given life membership of the Bowral Blues in 1988 and has been a member of the SCG since he was 9 years of age. He completed his umpires course and maintains a strong passion for a game that he believes is ‘in the family'.
Mr Stephan Wagner
Last year, Stephan Wagner opened the Telstra Licensed Shop in Springetts Arcade in Bowral. They have recently celebrated their first birthday and the launch of the Next Generation technology. Stephan is a keen supporter of the local community.

With a passion for the region and a keen interest in equestrian sports, Sam Ballas and his family intend investing their future life in the Southern Highlands

Chris Benton opened the Bank of Queensland in Bowral earlier this year. They are proud supporters of the worlds first NetsMatch
